Nottingham Black Archive launches documentary series Black In The City, each episode will offer a new perspective of Nottingham’s Black narrative. This episode introduces Claudette Mitchell who talks about Nottingham’s longest running Black owned business, life in the 1960s for her her parents, difficulties Black people faced, paadners, discrimination in education and from the banks, gentrification and more.
